I did some more wandering New Year's Eve and landed Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. Another artsy district in Brooklyn but with its two bridges making the place unique, it knocks Williamsburg outta the league. I wish I could've stayed there all night. Instead I trekked to 42nd st. to not witness the balldrop 'cause of the enormous crowds of tourists. Sadly in that situation, I wish I wasnt in Times Square.
Interestingly, living in NYC lets me experience things I never want to experience again but glad I experienced them. Crowdedness.. I hate. Wandering w/ friends.. I love (with cameras.. eh, not so much).
If you go to the same area with friends and they are all photographers, is it pointless of you to take photos? (Since they will all basically end up the same?)

These are both lovely. I especially like the colors and composition of the second shot. Also, in response to your comment, I've gone on photo outings with friends before, and I think it's a great thing to do. Although we do end up with some near-identical shots, I love to see the things we do differently. It's almost always the case that each person will have something unique to show.
