I have this photo/vid project growing in my head since last weekend. It's a self portrait without myself physically in the photograph.. I enjoy work that is abstract enough for viewers but personal enough for me.

Stay busy this summer; tis the goal.

"I am writing to inform you that beginning in Fall 2006, the College of Visual and Performing Arts will be replacing course fees with a program fee for all undergraduate students in the School of Art and Design, Department of Transmedia, Department of Drama, and the Setnor School of Music. This fee will cover costs associated with applied music instruction, studio art and dance courses, dramatic productions, equipment and technology maintenance, masterclasses and visiting artists. The program fee of $520 per semester will be included with your tuition bill, eliminating the need for a second bill after the financial adjustment period."

are you fucking telling me that I will be paying $520 even if I decide not to take studio classes that require a damn dime?!

don't criticize me if you end up being a hypocrite.

there was so much to grasp at the armory show (pier 90 & 92).. i seriously needed a nap to rest the eyes after i finished walking through half of the first pier. i have to say it was fun going myself. you see which galleries would look fun to intern for and which look straight-up snobby. once i was there, i realized it would've been ok to bring my resume along.. but then i thought they would toss it aside along w/ the mass of paper work, patron orders, books, etc..

other than getting myself ahead, the work shown at the gigantic show was diverse. i dont know if it was good as a collection but there were some notables. i'll write some names later.

not creating any new photos is taking its toll on my creative juices. someone knock this block out of my way.

maybe spring break will conjure up some images.. and hopefully not just snapshots from the digi.
